DETAILS / MODEL SHIPS

It seems fitting, given Ardsona's location where the Firth of Clyde meets the Irish Sea, that it should feature a tribute to an an era when 'Clyde built' was synonymous with ship building greatness. All of the models below represent 'Clyde built' ships, with the exception of the Viking longboat. Even in this instance, it is possible that longboats such as this were built or at least repaired on a Norse ruled island in the Clyde...like our Isle of Arran...
