and then down the steep Pier Hill past the harbour, where we see that the ferry is just leaving.
The Douglas Hotel is an upscale, award winning boutique hotel with a fine restaurant and bistro / bar. The impressive old (1873) red sandstone Victorian structure was completely renovated just a few years ago. It is the first building one sees on leaving Brodick harbor heading into the village.
