ART / JOHN BYRNE

John Byrne, born 1940 in Paisley, is widely considered to be Scotland's greatest living artist and playwright. 'The Slab Boys' play is considered a modern day classic. The 1983 Off-Broadway run featured then up and coming stars such as Sean Penn, Kevin Bacon and Val Kilmer.
